MENG’s global outlook explains the brand’s rapid international expansion, winning over luxury department stores and e-retailers such as Harrods, Selfridges, Neiman Marcus and Matches Fashion as well as top end independent boutiques across the world. Before founding MENG, I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most illustrious fashion brands; Chanel, Lane Crawford and Zara, to name a few. In 2012, it felt the right time to step away from the boardroom and reflect. I set out to combine my first love, art, with my fashion and business know-how. Harnessing my love of painting and drawing, MENG brings original large-scale art prints to a collection made for relaxation at home, or a glamorous pyjama party. We aim to create easy, chic and wearable designs for Sunday mornings with the newspapers, an evening in, or lounging by the pool. But it’s more than just comfort.
